 Lakeshore Marina is seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Marine Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of boats and marine equipment. • Diagnose and repair inboard, outboard, and sterndrive engines, as well as boat systems, including electrical, fuel, steering, and propulsion systems.
• Conduct inspections of boats and marine equipment to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and engine winterization.
• Install and troubleshoot GPS systems, fish finders, and other marine electronics.
• Maintain detailed records of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services performed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining repair needs, options, and timelines to customers.
• Follow all marina and OSHA safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Stay updated on new marine technologies and manufacturer guidelines.

• Certification in Marine Technology or related fields is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Marine Service Technician.
• Manufacturer certifications (Yamaha, Mercury, Volvo Penta, etc.) highly preferred.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing marine engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and utilize diagnostic software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license (boating license preferred).

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (More than 50 lbs.).
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and on elevated surfaces, such as docks and boats.
